4. Cinderella
My oldest song, written in 1981 on my first guitar. Not all girls can go to the ball, in fact more end up without their Prince Charming and fairytale ending, so this ones for them
5. Your In My Dreams
Most recently added song, lively and energetic, about how we cope when we have to travel a lot and be away from our partners and loved ones.
6. Australia
The story of my life long battle to become an Australian resident. My parents left Australia in 1964 and I spent 38 years trying to get back. My song to show how much I love Australia.
7. The 1st Forty Years
I played this at my 40th birthday in 1997 in the UK. It's a guys song, all about the similar twists and turns we all seem to take through life, and having a good look back on it all at your 40th.
8. All In All
Not all divorces and separations are mutual, nearly always one partner is left hurt, this song is about them and what they have to go through to try and pick up the pieces.
9. Hot Woman
A party dance song, warning you to keep away where you shouldnt tread guys!. A bouncy beat and catchy lyrics.
10. Better Late Than Never
Title track born from the fact that I thought up the album title and did not have a song with that name!, so it flowed and 30 minutes later the song was there. I think its an apt title given my circumstances!
11. You're Kinda Worth It
Sometimes we take each other for granted and so sometimes its good to be appreciated. This songs about saying thank you and recognising the efforts your partner makes in life.
12. Mystery Girl
Disco Pop song about a girl seen in a brief moment, then she disappears and all about the subsequent search, sometimes a happy ending, sometimes not. Maybe you've had that experience with a fleeting glimpse in the street?
13. Under Nillumbik Skies
My tribute to the beautiful area I have been lucky enough to bring up my family in on the north eastern fringes of Melbourne Australia, Nillumbik Shire. Filled with trees and valleys, I am blessed!
14. Hope
You may have already heard this one on the front page. Written to give hope to all, in any situation, anywhere in the world. I really hope it does provide some hope to those that are currently in need of it.
