I'm very pleased to release the video to the song "Hope", written as a source of inspiration for all those who appear to have lost all hope in this world. Hope is the first single to be taken from the forthcoming 14 track album - "Better Late Than Never" due out later in 2010. The video was shot in North East Melbourne Australia in early December 2009 on a beautiful early summers day. Im really pleased how it has turned out as we wanted it to be generalistic. The depicted story is of a young lady who has obviously received some devasting news, her world has collapsed around her and suddenly she has lost all hope. The music is meant to inspire everyone to gain strength from somewhere and carry on, to find an inner strength to face what lies ahead, and to overcome it. Hope was born from my own experience with Cancer and my personal aim is that people can draw strength and inspiration from this song, and in turn give them hope for the future!

How it Came to be - The Bob Messenger Project

Bob Messenger Being told you have cancer at the age of 50 can do many things, in my case, it was a calling, it gave me the kick I needed to do this album. They say everything’s done for a reason and so I say thank you for what happened to me, I learned from it and emerged stronger. You can read my story about that in greater detail by clicking on the "Natural Living" link. For me its more important than the music that you should read my story. If I can save one life by someone reading this then its been more than worthwhile! Now back to the music, weve been working on the album since June 2007 and finally its 14 tracks are finished and mastered, the videos are shot and the promotion is about to begin. Its been hard work but its also been well worth it, and a unique and very enjoyable experience. Start a music career at 50 ?, why not? Break the mould ! inspire ! Make the most of life and like a line from one of my songs (Life), “live each day like absolutely the last day !” So Better Late Than Never, here we go ! Enjoy life !
